Topic 11.
Marine and coastal environment
This session aims to bring together scientific studies related to the impacts of the Tajogaite volcanic eruption and other processes related to previous eruptive activity on the coastal and marine environment. It is therefore open to all research based on in situ observations, experimental studies, and models that examine the impact of the Tajogaite volcanic eruption on the marine and coastal environment. Contributions on the evolution of marine and coastal ecosystems, physico-chemical processes (e.g., seawater acidification), and their impact on biogeochemical cycles will be considered. Additionally, studies related to coastal dynamics, morphosedimentary characteristics, and beach formation are also welcome.
